Butterfly Mobile

My niece, Avery recently celebrated her 1st birthday and I wanted to make her something special as a gift. Her older sister has a ballerina themed mobile hanging in her room, so I wanted Avery to have a mobile for her own room. Here is what I made:

 

 I used scrapbook paper and a butterfly hole punch to make the butterflies. I hung them using white thread and a hot glue gun. I was thinking of using fishing line but the paper butterflies weren't heavy enough to hold the line straight.

 

I used ribbon and tulle to cover the frame of the mobile (which I made using a wire coat hanger).
